She dares to dream….

She stands in wait,
Quietly clasping the handle of her umbrella.
She watches as the sparkly rain, full of colour,
Falls gently to the ground.
She listens to the soft hollow tune the rain makes as it falls on her shelter.
Her dreamy eyes look out from under the umbrella.
Does she dare to dream?
Does she dare to feel the rain fall on her skin?
To step out into the world and risk getting the drops of colour on her pristine white?
From the protection of her umbrella she watches the floral colour of life blooming.
Adventures waiting to be had,
Colours waiting to be lost in,
She ever so slowly stretches out her hand,
Feeling life & colour gently land in her palm.
A risk of course,
But she is full of courage & life.
She steps out into the rain,
She dares to dream……
